How the $10 steps work. Each bundle stands alone, and its first month is free: the base $10 is waived. A busy month moves it up in $10 steps, and you are told before each one. It never goes past the ceiling you set ($30 unless you change it): at the ceiling it pauses until the 1st, and nothing more is charged. Card fees are passed on at cost. No contract; stop any bundle any time.
