What We Believe
Twelve Foundational Values, each with its own attributes and the scripture behind them. This is our Statement of Faith — written plainly and organized so it can be studied, shared, questioned, and adopted.
One God: The Holy Trinity
The twelve values are grouped by who they point to.
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.” — John 1:14
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” — Genesis 1:1
“By his mercy he saved us, by the washing…and renewing of the Holy Spirit.” — Titus 3:5
“Ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit.” — 1 Cor 6:20
Truth
Know GodTruth is the unchanging rock on which to build your life and country. It’s the opposite of our corrupt tendencies.
“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” — John 17:3
There is one God-given reality for all people and places. It's either acknowledged or resisted.
Because truth reflects God’s nature, it does not evolve, contradict itself, or expire with time.
Truth is fully revealed in the living person of Jesus Christ.
Truth is the foundation on which everything depends. Without it there is no order, stability or safety.
All fundamental beliefs are objectively defined by the Bible, the authoritative, Holy-Spirit-inspired Word of God.
The Devil, and powerful earthly institutions he controls, war against the truth because it exposes sin.
We must be extremely skeptical of mainstream sources of information because they tend to be ungodly and misleading
Finding truth requires continually overcoming our sinful nature and the harmful influence of our corrupt culture.
Hope
Obey God’s WordPeace and prosperity are only possible if society does what is Right by working hard to constantly reject the evil tendencies of our sinful nature.
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” — James 1:22
Regardless of present conditions, we have a confident expectation rooted in God’s holiness and faithful promises.
The long history of despair has only been briefly interrupted when Truth is known and put into practice.
Real improvement starts when we as individuals humbly examine ourselves in the mirror of God's Word.
Before we can help others, we must first renounce our own sin and ask God to forgive us and help us change.
The only hope for society is for God to redeem the people, shaping us to be more like Christ, one heart at a time.
We choose to love, forgive and serve rather than spread self-serving lies, hatred and division.
Our optimism, yearning and confidence is in the resurrection and eternal life, not merely improvement in this world.
Where truth is believed and obeyed, order, stability and harmony follow. A society at peace is the fruit of changed hearts, not of better rules.
Education
Share God’s WordParents must ensure that children learn to discern and protect the poor and weak from harmful agendas that corrupt leaders selfishly promote.
“In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth.” — 2 Timothy 2:25
God assigns primary responsibility for education and spiritual formation to parents and households, who must guard children from deception and form them in truth.
To be "salt" that preserves, we must counter the false religions of Evolution, Environmentalism and Marxism.
After learning the Truth and applying it in our lives, we are called to share its lifesaving "light" with others.
When souls repent, we disciple them through the process of conversion, baptism and living a new life in Christ.
We continue to improve tools and methods to motivate and equip students to learn, apply and share the truth.
We prepare students to read, write, calculate, think critically and learn not to repeat the mistakes of past generations.
We shine a powerful light in the dark world by finding ways to avoid participating in its immorality and idolatry.
Teaching takes love and patience. The best way is to humbly lead by example and establish trusting relationships.
Creator
Love and Honor GodCreation proves that God exists and is the source of Law which serves as the standard by which government should reward good and punish evil.
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” — Revelation 4:11
We worship the only God, the awesome Maker of all things, who exists in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
God creates by speaking, demonstrating absolute power, intentional design, and authority over matter and time.
God is perfect, eternal and infinite in His knowledge, power, glory, mercy, compassion, love, justice and patience.
Though infinite, God reveals Himself and invites relationship—calling people to know Him as Father through covenant and grace.
As Creator, God is the ultimate authority over truth, morality, life, and judgment. Right and wrong flow from His nature.
God establishes order, law, and authority, calling His people to obey earthly authorities when such obedience aligns with His Word.
God created everything perfect, but when Adam and Eve disobeyed, disease, corruption and strife entered the world.
God not only creates but continually upholds and governs all things with wisdom and care.
Liberty
Be Free to Follow GodHistory is filled with slavery, suffering and death. Freedom of thought, speech and action only exist when we keep government under God.
“While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.” — 2 Peter 2:19
Liberty is not doing whatever we want. It is the freedom to do what is right, and not be forced to violate biblical convictions.
Government is a necessary evil because we are unable to self-govern. It should only make laws that are absolutely necessary.
Human rulers are fallen; unchecked power tends toward corruption and oppression, endangering liberty.
All human rights are given by God, not man. Therefore, these rights should not be denied by man.
Capitalism only works because it correctly assumes people are selfish. Socialism fails because it assumes people are good.
We were slaves to sin, chained and hopeless. But God still loved us and sent His Son Jesus to purchase our freedom.
Liberty must be guarded; spiritual and moral vigilance is required to preserve freedom across generations.
Freedom and responsibility are inseparable. A people who will not answer for their own choices will always be governed by someone who will.
Justice
Trust in God AloneGod's Day of Judgement will heal a long history of injustice. Meanwhile, we should love mercy and give everyone equal opportunity and protection.
“He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.” — Deuteronomy 32:4
Justice must not bend toward wealth, power, race, or status. It's not invented by humans; it flows from who God is.
Life here isn’t fair but God is. He sees everything and will eventually judge and reward everyone according to their works.
Justice without mercy becomes cruelty; God commands compassion, forgiveness, and restoration alongside judgment. Ample warning is given to the sinner to change his ways and to avoid the eternity of the lost. God does not desire that anyone should perish but rather that all would repent.
We have all broken the Ten Commandments, so only the people whose sins are forgiven can be found innocent. Heaven and hell are real places. Followers of Jesus Christ will spend eternity with him in heaven.
God hates the oppression of the weak by powerful institutions. We need to create alternative systems that prevent it.
Activists clamor for justice, but they really need mercy. People who are failures often Virtue Signal to feel better about themselves.
Success depends on opportunity, effort and ability. All people should be valued fairly based on their character and productivity.
Citizens should care for the poor via the Church. History shows that government involvement only makes social problems worse.
Life
Be Spiritually RebornHuman life is sacred because God gives us a spiritual soul. Therefore, we have a duty to defend life and condemn needless violence.
“Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” — John 3:3
We treasure God's creation, especially every human life from conception until natural death.
Life is broken by sin and subject to death apart from God. All human life is affected by sin, corruption, and mortality. Hell is the place God created for Satan and his fallen angels to be punished for their rebellion against him. Unbelievers who die in their sins will be judged by God and sent to hell where they will be eternally tormented with the devil and the fallen angels.
The punishment for our sin is death, but Jesus died for us. He shed His blood to wash away all of our sin. Sin is missing the mark and therefore is in violation of God's law. It ranges from ignorant neglect to outright rebellion, with many shades in between. Sin is first and foremost against God.
We can live forever if we are "born again." Our old, sin-loving self must die. Then God's Spirit can fill our heart.
The Holy Spirit gives believers comfort, conviction, direction and the power to overcome sin and grow in faith.
On the narrow way we are not promised everything we want, but peace, joy, hope, purpose and everything we need. Life in God’s way brings peace, purpose, and hope—even amid suffering.
We reject the culture of violence and death that fills movies, video games, and poorly run urban centers.
Christ rose from the grave, and everyone who belongs to Him will rise too. Death is real, but for the believer it is not the end of the story.
Faith
Be a Child of GodOur sin separates us from our Holy Creator, but He provides a way to be reconciled to Him and have peace, joy and hope.
“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.” — Romans 8:16-17
God helps us understand that we are sinners condemned to hell, and that our only hope is to surrender to Him.
True faith begins by turning from self and submitting to God. Faith acknowledges guilt and entrusts life entirely to Christ.
When we realize that God sacrificed His Only Son, we no longer want to do the things that nailed Him to the cross.
God gives us the desire to study His Word, to know Him and his plan better, and be prepared to share with others.
We develop a close relationship with God by sharing our hopes, concerns, thanks and praise through prayer.
Our spiritual health depends on contributing to, and being accountable to, a group of sincere Bible believers.
Although we still sin, by God's grace we don't practice it. Baptism symbolizes burying the old life and rising anew.
Saving faith continues despite trials and suffering. True faith holds fast to Christ until the end.
Family
Build God’s KingdomSuccessful marriage and parenting is essential for civilization, require extreme self-sacrifice, are under attack, and merit our total support.
“And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children.” — Deuteronomy 6:6-7
Family is a divine institution established by God. He created marriage as integral for humanity.
Marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, modeled after the spiritual union of Christ and the Church.
The husband/father spiritually leads the home, provides, protects, disciplines the children, and sets a good example. Biblical leadership is sacrificial, loving, and accountable to God.
The wife/mother manages the many details of the family, nurturing the children, and encouraging her husband.
Families are God’s primary means of raising and discipling children. Children are a blessing and a responsibility, not a burden.
The traditional family unit is efficient and sustainable. It's the crucial, indispensable component of any society or economy.
Marriages and families are under attack and deserve our full support. Parenting is the hardest job, but also the most important.
Success starts long before the wedding, with spiritual preparation, sexual purity, and developing godly character and life skills.
Glory
Live for GodA biblical worldview gives life meaning and purpose. Everything we are and everything we do should glorify of our Creator.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” — Matthew 6:33
As adopted children of The King, we have the ultimate privilege to seek His will and do what He calls each of us to do.
We're thankful to be created male or female in the image of God, and use our bodies only in ways that honor Him.
As a chosen people we rest on God's promises that He is faithful, supplies our needs and works all things for good.
We take care of our bodies so that we have the strength to serve others, our families, churches and communities.
Biblical counseling aids mental health, not worldly psychology. Focusing on others rather than yourself brings peace.
We grow stronger together by investing in real relationships, planning, networking and partnering to build God's Kingdom.
Purpose moves outward in love and obedience. God calls His people to serve others and advance His kingdom.
We are set apart for God's own use. Being holy means being separated from what is common and devoted to what He calls us to do.
Character
Be More Like ChristLife at its best is hard. Be humble, work hard, overcome adversity, be better not bitter, don't fear failure, never blame others but share credit.
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7
Honesty reflects God’s nature and builds trust. God’s people are called to integrity in speech and conduct.
Treat other people as you would want to be treated, with courtesy, respect, loyalty and kindness.
As long as we are on God's side, we need not fear. We can prayerfully make good plans and boldly step out in faith.
If we think too much of ourselves, we tend to be overconfident and fail to prepare. We need to listen, learn and practice.
Trials can draw us closer to God and help us grow spiritually. We're called to be resilient, diligent and determined.
There are no "short cuts" in the race of life. To win, one must develop self-control and the ability to consistently perform.
God's timing often does not meet our short term expectations, but waiting and seeking can teach us valuable lessons.
Faithfulness reflects loyalty to God and responsibility toward others. God values consistency, dependability, and perseverance.
Work
Use God-Given Gifts WellWorking honestly for fair wages and striving to continuously improve is the honorable and dignified way to a better life and world.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” — Ephesians 2:10
When it counts, create a masterpiece. Do the best you can at everything. Your effort reflects on God and His people.
Look for opportunities to lead. Pursue continuous improvement. Permanently solve problems. Believe and take action.
Faithful people work steadily rather than passively waiting. God values initiative, consistency, and responsible effort.
We're called to serve. Whether it is family, church, a customer or the less fortunate, we share our time, talent and treasure.
Manage your money and provide for your family. Maximize earnings and minimize spending. Pay with cash not credit.
You can’t steer a boat that's not moving. Stay active and productive while you study or prepare. You learn more by doing.
