Verse 1
Two brothers sat with socks half on,The evening cartoons carried on.
A scene appeared they couldn’t place,
They looked away, unsure and still.
Verse 2
Their mother came and sat nearby,She heard their questions, met their eyes.
“Some things can leave us feeling strange;
You’re safe with me. Let’s talk it through.”
Pre-Chorus
She opened up the Book of truth,And read God’s words in gentle tones.
Then both the boys could breathe again,
And know they didn’t stand alone.
Chorus
God doesn’t make mistakes,He made us with a loving plan.
He made us boys and girls,
Each one held within His hand.
We’ll follow where His wisdom leads,
And choose what’s good and true.
God’s way is best; He cares for us,
And we can trust Him through and through.
Verse 3
“God made a family to grow,With faithful love and children too.
The world may twist what God designed,
But we can seek what’s right and true.”
Pre-Chorus
She turned the pages, read once more,They listened close, then bowed their heads.
The questions didn’t all disappear,
But peace was there beside the words.
Chorus
God doesn’t make mistakes,He made us with a loving plan.
He made us boys and girls,
Each one held within His hand.
We’ll follow where His wisdom leads,
And choose what’s good and true.
God’s way is best; He cares for us,
And we can trust Him through and through.
Bridge
When something feels confusing,We can ask and we can learn.
With the Bible and our family,
We can find the path to turn.
Final Chorus
God doesn’t make mistakes,He made us with a loving plan.
He made us boys and girls,
Each one held within His hand.
We’ll follow where His wisdom leads,
And choose what’s good and true.
God’s way is best; He cares for us,
And we can trust Him through and through.
Outro
God’s way is best, His love is true,He made us, and He cares for you.
