Another Voyage

Measure a few things on purpose, with people who will actually look. Turns on your Compass, Speed and Odometer.

A program a family, a church or a business takes on together: a small number of things about each of you, counted honestly, looked at on a rhythm, with people who have agreed to look.

It is optional, and it is meant to stay that way. Walking this map explains the three instruments and then switches them on for your account. Nothing is withheld from anybody who would rather not be counted.

The Step-by-step Process of this Map
1) What this is, and who it is not for
A group agreeing to be measured on purpose. Worth doing on purpose, or not at all.
2) The Compass: what you are aimed at
How closely your own answers line up with the twelve Foundational Values.
3) The Speed: how you have been going lately
A pace score out of 100, gathered from nine different activities.
4) The Odometer, and what a standing really means
Total miles, which never resets — and why every number here can move while you sleep.
5) Decide who you are doing this with
A group that will actually look. Two or three people is plenty.
6) Set the rhythm before you need it
A standing time to look. Monthly is usually right; weekly burns out.
7) Look at them together, for the first time
Finishing this step turns your instruments on.
