Life’s Big Questions

Where did everything come from? If God is good, why does it hurt so much? Did Jesus really rise? Sam, Ruby and their best friend Jonah run into the questions everybody asks, at school, on the news, at a funeral, and take them to the people who love them.

Twelve stories, one for each question. Each chapter has what the enemy whispers and what God says, the question and its answer with the verse, and three questions to talk about together. For readers 9 to 12, and the grown-ups beside them.

Look inside

Chapter 2: The Sky Is Talking

Ruby and Dad lie on a quilt in the backyard, looking up at the stars
Does God exist, and who is He?

Ruby didn’t. She lay there looking up at the stars, and for the first time in her life she wondered if anybody was looking back.

“Dad, how do we know God is real?” Dad didn’t laugh, and he didn’t look worried. He just thought about it.

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork.” Psalm 19:1

Talk about it: What would you want to ask God, if you could ask Him anything?
